For the Golden State Warriors Lunar New Year poster, I used mostly red and yellow colors, which signify “good luck” in the Chinese New Year. I also added splashes of the Warriors colors as a nod to the team. I used the dragon-lion dance, fireworks, lanterns, red envelopes and other Chinese traditional symbols to add a festive touch to the poster. The year 2020 is the Year of the Rat, so I included six cute rats in the poster, as the number six is also a lucky number in China.
